This Silquar Soldering Board provides a heat-resistant work surface for soldering, brazing, and other jewelry-making operations involving a torch. Made from non-asbestos Silquar material, the board retains heat during soldering, helping maintain the temperature of your work rather than drawing heat away from it.

With a temperature rating of up to 2200°F (1204°C), it's suitable for a wide range of jewelry soldering applications. The 6" x 6" size provides plenty of working room for rings, pendants, findings, and other small jewelry projects without taking over your entire soldering station.

Another handy feature is that the board can be cleaned with water, making it easy to remove accumulated flux residue and other debris between projects.

FDJ Tip: A soldering board is heat-resistant, but that doesn't mean the bench underneath it is. Always use an appropriate heatproof base beneath your soldering setup, particularly if you're working on a wooden bench. Your soldering project should be the only thing getting fired up.
