This unit clamps rings externally in leather-lined jaws for filing, sanding, and polishing the inside ring surfaces.
It holds any size ring (3/8" to 11/8"), and practically all shapes. Very unusual-shaped rings may have to be rotated up to 180° within clamp to locate the most secure position.
The clamp can be tapped with 1/4" thread (in hole provided) for mounting on a stand or bolting to a bench surface. Sides are flat for holding in a vise.
Die cast from 380 series high-strength aluminum alloy, the External Ring Clamp is virtually unbreakable with normal use.
