PM6XX = Blak-Ground Antique Black Finish Thick Flow

Blak-Ground creates a dark background effect that adds contrast to lettering, engraving, recessed designs, textures, class rings, and other decorative metalwork.

Choose the black finish you prefer—or the companion solvent for removing Blak-Ground from raised or unwanted areas.

Available options:
PM600 – Matte Black Finish, 2 fl oz
Creates a dark, low-sheen background in recessed and detailed areas.

PM606 – Glossy Black Finish, 2 fl oz
Creates a dark background with a glossier finished appearance.

PM650 – Blak-Ground Solvent, 1 fl oz
The companion remover used to clean Blak-Ground from raised surfaces, high spots, and other areas where the black finish is not wanted.

The matte and glossy finishes:
• Add contrast to engraving and recessed designs
• Can be used on many properly prepared metal surfaces
• Dry in minutes
• Include an applicator brush
• Resist ordinary wear
• Require no additional lacquer coating

Application of PM600 or PM606:
Begin with a clean, dry metal surface free of oil, wax, grease, polishing compound, and other residue.

Apply Blak-Ground to the desired recessed or detailed areas using the included brush. Allow it to dry completely. Results can vary according to the metal and surface preparation, so testing on a sample or inconspicuous area is recommended.

Using PM650 Solvent:
Apply a small amount of solvent to a clean, lint-free cloth. Carefully wipe the raised surfaces or other areas where Blak-Ground is not wanted. Rinse the finished piece as appropriate and dry it completely.

A modest amount of solvent is generally sufficient. The objective is to remove the finish from the high spots—not invite the entire piece to take a bath.

Important safety information for PM600 and PM606:

WARNING: May cause skin irritation, an allergic skin reaction, or serious eye irritation.

Use in a well-ventilated area. Avoid breathing vapors, mist, or spray. Wear protective gloves and eye protection. Avoid contact with skin and eyes, and wash thoroughly after handling. Keep the bottle tightly closed and out of reach of children and pets.

DANGER: Highly flammable liquid and vapor. Causes serious eye irritation. Vapors may cause respiratory irritation, drowsiness, or dizziness.

Use only outdoors or in a well-ventilated area. Keep away from heat, sparks, open flames, hot surfaces, and all other ignition sources. No smoking. Wear appropriate gloves and eye protection. Keep the container tightly closed and store it in a cool, well-ventilated and secure location.

Do not mix any of these products with other chemicals. Read and follow all directions and warnings on the product container before use. Dispose of unused material and containers in accordance with applicable local regulations.
