A replacement for the 3-jaw plier known as the bow closing plier, which is often used for reshaping rings. This tool however will not scratch a ring since the V-block is nylon and the single jaw is highly polished stainless steel. This plier may make all other ring bending pliers obsolete.
Another advantage to nylon jaws is that it can be carved with a knife for specific uses.
