Sterling Silver Standard Spring Ring with Open Ring
This sterling silver chain clasp features an open ring to attach with pliers. The clasp opening is spring loaded. You open it by pulling back the tiny "knob" with your fingernail. Close by releasing and letting the inner spring "pop" it close.

Remember that spring rings have an internal steel spring. That spring can be damaged by the heat of soldering or by being immersed in acidic pickle solution.
