Tripoli: This silica-free tripoli is a fine cutting abrasive usually used an a pre-polish for finer rouges.

Metal Used On: Use on all metals where rouge would be used a s the final finish (i.e. silver, gold, bass, copper, platinum, etc).

Results: Produces a scratch-free, dull finish. This even finish is needed as the base for final polishing steps.

Type of Buffs: Treated or tight muslin buffs or medium to hard felt.
