Black Rouge: Used most commonly for final polishing. Often used in polishing musical instruments.
Metal Used On: Silver, white gold, white brass and platinum.
Results: Leaves a rich, dark luster; darker than red rouge. For best results, use after preparing the surface with pre-finish compound such as tripoli.
Type of Buffs: Loose muslin, chamois or cotton flannel.
