Stainless steel requires only occasional cleaning and gives great uniformity. Because it is stainless steel, it is rust and corrosion resistant and able to stand up to strong compounds. It is much more corrosion resistant that its carbon steel counterpart, but that doesn't mean that it won't rust if not properly taken care of.
